Great Songs about prepositions (in, on, under, by)

Prepositions are always difficult for students to remember, so why not make it easier with some great songs that will get stuck in their heads for hours.

This above song is great for beginners and young children. It even has a niffy dance and repeats the words in, on, under, by again and again to help the kids remember.

This below song is another easy one for students who are just staring out.

Dream English is known for having plenty of great YouTube videos, and this one in no exception.

Where's the Monkey is a big hit with small kids. It may be a little difficult for them to remember at first, but it's very entertaining.

This song in, on, under, contains more words and vocab, and is considerably harder compared to the previous songs, but a great way to increase the students skills once they have mastered more easier songs. The chorus contains the words in, on, under, in front of, behind, next to, between. I highly recommend it.

Save Youtube videos to your computer

Of course you should stream the videos and support the creator when possible, but if you can't stream YouTube in your ESL classroom, I recommend this great website called http://www.keepvid.com that you can use to download Youtube Videos. You can also download the audio and burn it to a CD.

Check out some great preposition games for older children at this Englipedia.net page.
